We have done some fun things to start off our hot summer here in AZ. A couple of days after baby Charlie was born and Cam was off work, Grandpa K and him took the kids to the zoo for some needed fun. Alex LOVED the petting zoo.
Jake was REALLY confused on why the deer got to pee on the ground and nobody said a word about it.

I didn't think the kids would like to be up so high but the boys said they LOVED it.
I'm not sure who is more worried about the giraffes tongue Cam or Jake?
Our zoo just got a new aquarium and who knew Arizona had penguins?
Jake wouldn't turn his back to the animals, he would walk away backwards. Cam finally got him to turn for a picture. Love the face!
Me and the kids got out of the house to do some fun things before baby C was born and the splash park was our first stop! They could play there for days!
I could only get a picture of Jake eating a cookie or on the run!

The weekend before baby came was our ward family campout. I decided the ground sleeping was not for me in my state and elected to get a pedicure instead but Cam was super dad and took the kids alone. The pictures were minimal, I'm sure it was because they were having such a great time!
Alex has always loved to camp and her favorite part is sleeping in her "bean bag" needless to say when it's time to go to sleep you will not hear her complain.

So fun. Good thing Jake didn't come home and try to pee on the ground like Jake. He's so funny. Charlie is getting big quick...I wish we could stop it...it goes to fast.
