We had so much fun this Easter weekend! We started off the weekend with fun times at some parks and then Saturday morning we went and saw the movie Horton Hears a Who, which is a really cute movie we have been dying to see. Later Sat afternoon we went to the Annual Eggstravaganza at the baseball Spring training stadium. They throw tons of plastic eggs and candy on the field and have age groups take turns cleaning it all up. The kids had a blast and we loved watching them go crazy! The Easter bunny was there and Jake wasn't so sure about getting anywhere near him, but soon got the hang of picking up all the candy to put in his basket. Sunday we woke up to find the Easter Bunny had come to our house and left some candy in our Easter baskets and hid some eggs in the back yard! We went to a great church meeting and then went to some good friends house for a big Easter feast. It's so great to have such good friends around when you don't have family on the holidays! All in all it was a great Easter for us!

Cute pictures! Jake looks like a rebelous prep school boy with his shirt untucked. The weather looks so nice there and everything is so green. I'm so jealous right now. It's still really ugly here and somewhat on the cold side for it being almost April! Hopefully we will get to see you guys again this summer. I'm sure we'll meet up again at a D-backs game...that would be fun!
