Fun filled weekend!

We had a fun time over the weekend. Alex got a new bike for Christmas and won't stop asking to ride it every night so we took a trip around the block a few times. She's a crazy girl on that thing! We thought it would take some time to get used to her "big girl" bike but she is already asking to take her training wheels off after seeing her friend Nate ride without them. We had to come back in the house after going around because believe it or not it was too cold to be out there when the sun went down.



The stadium where the Super Bowl was is about 15 min away from our house so we went over to where they were having a bunch of activites going on and watched the cool fountain shows and walked around the shops. There was a NFL Experience thing with a ferriswheel and autograph signings but the line was ridiculous and we didn't think the kids could last a 2 hour wait :) so we bypassed that one. We did see John Elway for about 5 seconds speaking at some gathering, Cam thought that was pretty cool. On Sunday we got the announcement that our ward would be splitting and that we would be moved to 8am church. Holy cow! That's pretty early but i'm way more excited about it then staying at 1:30. After church we headed over to our friends the Smiths for Mat's Super Bowl/30th Birthday party (sorry Mat, I had to throw in the age :)) and had a great time as always when we get together. I hope all of you had as good as a weekend as we did!!!
