In February we took our first real trip just as a family. We went to Legoland and the beach in San Diego. The kids had a ton of fun seeing all of the fun things at Legoland.
This was the kids favorite ride. They could squirt people passing by, when they wouldn't expect it. I think by the look on Cam's face he enjoyed is as well!

After this ride Jake said 'Woah, that made my tummy jump really high!'

This was the end of the day and both look a little tuckered out eh?
The next day we went to Sea Life Aquarium which is a part of Legoland. Charlie would just run around screaming 'Fifies!! Fifies!!!' Needless to say there weren't many people that stuck close to us.

Later that day we went to the beach. I have to say if this is all we did the entire trip the kids would have been plenty satisfied. We will be making a trip just for the beach soon enough. They played hard! It was still a bit chilly but the surfers were out and Jake wanted to know why they could get in the water and he couldn't. Trying to explain what a wet suit is for wasn't registering.
He couldn't help it! The water was freezing but he just inched his way in inch by inch.
