First Grade?!

Now that I've somewhat caught up from summer pictures (I still have wedding pics to go through) I will debut my cute first grader!  I know everyone says that they can't believe they have a kid old enough to go to school but seriously, I still feel like "goobs" was born yesterday.  I miss her SO much during the day.  Not only is she an AMAZING helper, she's just fun to have around.  She is getting into the stage of constantly chatting your ear off at any given moment.  Although being in first grade comes with alot more responsibility she is having alot of fun.  Her kinder teacher looped up with them so her teacher is the same and all the kids are the same.  It has helped with the nerves and scary first week of getting to know yous.  We are so proud of Alex in every way!

Charlie saw that the two olders were putting on backpacks and grabbed Alex's old one and walked towards the car.  Unfortunatley I ran to get the camera and she had taken it off when I got back.  This picture was an attempt to get all of them together.  Alex was whining about the sun being to bright, Jake thought he was going to school that day as well, he didn't have preschool for another week, but you couldn't talk him out of it, and Charlie was a little confused to what was going on with all the crazines. I think it's just perfect, real life :)

In first grade you get your own desk.  Boy were the kids all excited!  I'm not so sure her teacher was when it was all they could do to keep their sticky fingers out of the desks all day.
