My brother Mat got married in July and we decided to make a big trip out of going to Utah. Our first stop was Grandpa Bob's house in Idaho for the big fourth of July party. We hadn't been in several years so we were pretty excited. Here in Arizona we don't have parades because it's too stinkin hot, so going to the annual Rupert parade was fun. Yes, that is all of us in sweaters and jackets. We really didn't know if we were going to make it because it was so cold that morning but with true Idaho weather it ended up being the perfect weather all day.
There is always some interesting things in the Rupert parade, so this year me and my sister Katie decided to see who could get the wackiest picture.
That night we had some pretty wicked fireworks. My uncle is firework certified (whatever that means) and ALWAYS puts on a great show.
This is a picture of the fireworks through the 3D glasses.

We had many rides on the Gators. The kids loved it!
Yes, that is Charlie who was obsessed with riding in the Gator by herself, seatbelt of course.
When my dad had his farm, horseback riding was my kids very favorite thing to do. Thankfully Uncle Kurt had a horse we could ride while there.

That looks like the perfect 4th celebration. And I must admit I am very impressed with your parade pictures, my favorite is the fur hat on the people on the motorcycle. If you ever see one of those babies at the stores you frequent please pick one up for me, I'm sure my head will be cold here in the winter.
Love the pic of chuck at the parade!
