APRIL

So our computer hasn't been working for awhile, so my posting has been lacking. Here is our month of April in a nut shell.

Cam turned the big 30!! Just the two of us went to The Melting Pot the night before, so Alex and Jake thought it would be fun to take him to a movie the next day on his birthday.  They saw How to Tame a Dragon and loved it!!  They also loved having some one on one with their dad.   

We had a yummy icecream cake with friends.

It was little miss Charlie's 1st birthday on the 26th. We had a huge BBQ the night before with lots of friends and sadly to say I was videoing the whole time and didn't get a single picture.  On Charlie's actual birthday Jake decided we should let Charlie try a hot dog and boy was that a good idea, she loved it!  We went to the park after Alex's school and I once again was videoing her, but I managed to take a couple of pictures of the older kids. 

We went to Red Robin for dinner because we thought she loved the fries, but all she wanted to do was chew on a lemon. Whatever the birthday girl wants right?

She really enjoyed opening her presents!! Jake hardly let her open any because he was just too excited to see what she got.

Her birthday cupcake wasn't a huge hit at the beginning, but once she poked at it.........

then tasted some frosting...........

and a little more frosting..........

she finally just shoved the whole thing in her mouth!!!! Too cute......

LOVES to go and pick Alex up from school

Is a little fish.....sadly to say if she's not in the tub, she's in the toilet

She's a huge fan of the outdoors

She found a pen the other day and discovered that she could write all over her legs.  Isn't that  the kind of trouble she's supposed to get into when she's older??

She thought it was pretty darn funny!

Jake has decided that he doesn't "need" naps but then somehow I find him either in the middle of the stairs or other random places like the closet or on the floor in our bedroom.
