Summer lovin.....

We have had a great summer so far, lots and lots of fun! Cameron took off for a week for a 50 miler with his scouts and me and the kids headed up north to my parents since my sister Katie was coming into town for the weekend. All five of us kids were home and we had a great time. I didn't get a picture of Katie in her pregnancy state and will have to catch her double time when we get together at the end of the month. My talented sister Niki got us making some yummy "Bakerella" cupcake pops. SO YUMMY! We all had a great time trying to figure out how she makes those things so perfect!

We did ALOT of swimming, at least twice a day!

Dad took us to a place called Pirate Pizza, the kids loved it!

Charlie loves her Bumpa

We got to bring back Cristine with us for a week and the kids enjoy having her visit so much! We did alot of swimming at splash parks and pools, here is Charlie and her first time in her swimsuit.

The three kids on the swings...

Alex and Jake thought Cris was just one of the kids, Jake made her get out there and play in the splash park with him. Through out the week they would both say things like, "Cris, you better get upstairs and help us clean!" We got a babysitter one night and went to the movie and Cris came downstairs all dressed up and the kids looked her up and down and said, "Where are YOU going?" Cris: "With your mom and dad to the movie." Kids: "No your not, we are getting a babysitter." HILARIOUS!

Cris is going to culinary art school and just got done with an artisan bread class so we put her skills to work and she taught me some pretty cool stuff.

#1 Focaccia Bread (SO SO yummy, I'm hungry)

#2 French Bread (lets just say the way I was doing it before was not right)

#3 Cinnamon Rolls

Alex's dance recital was over the weekend and she did great! She is an amazingly fast learner and me and Cam are so proud of her for getting up there and being so brave. (I'm not so sure about her scandalous outfit. They did a Hawaiian like dance and they wanted them to wear as close to bathing suits with out looking to bare.)

And a Happy *LATE* Fathers day to my husband, we spent Fathers day on the rode back home from St. George. Cam is the greatest dad and his kids and I love him so much and appreciate the hard work he does. Happy *LATE* Fathers day to my padre also, my dad is one of my best friends and we talk all the time even though we might not see eachother often enough. We have always been close and I have enjoyed spending more time with him now that he lives closer.
