Halloween weekend....

Brace yourself for a long Halloween post. To start off with, Alex had a preschool Halloween party at the park where they got to have lunch and play games. They got to go into the library and have storytime which is one of Alex's favorite things to do, if only she had a really great mom to be better at taking her every week. Alex is a sucker for all things that have anything to do with games, candy and friends so she had a blast.

We had our wards first Trunk or Treat at the church. At first the kids thought it was pretty weird and funny to walk from car to car but as soon as they found out they got candy out of the deal they were in!

The kids friends Nate, Bay, Jack

Fancy car decorations huh :)? Jake was done with pictures and kept telling me "no more mom."

Halloween night before trick or treating, we got together with our friends and had a yummy yummy dutch oven dinner. Now that we have a dutch oven, Cameron wants to become a professional and make dutch oven all the time. I have no complaints, it's my favorite!
I made Alex's tutu and thought it turned out pretty cute. She loved being a fairy this year and I was glad to get out of the princess phase at least until next year.
Jake has always been into pirates so what was better than to dress like one. Thanks to cousin Sam for the costume!

They were so cute!

The two pretty fairies!
Jake didn't get very far around the block before he pooped out so he and daddy decided to stop and handout candy instead. Alex on the other hand almost wore me out! She just kept running from door to door. When we got home she told me her feet REALLY hurt and said she should have slowed down a bit. All in all it was a great Halloween weekend with lots of fun and friends.
