Bittersweet memories.......

We recently took a trip to visit my parents in Idaho. For those of you that don't know, I grew up on a farm in Rupert, Idaho. My dad has recently sold the farm and it was the last potato harvest this year, so we went up and hungout with the troops. It was all a bittersweet event. We all are excited for my dad to move on after thirty years, but after twenty-four of those years i'm having mixed feelings. Anyway, the kids had a great time and we got to see the first snow fall. We also spent some time at my grandmas in St. George who recently had a birthday. All in all it was a great trip. We are having withdrawls from the fall weather that we never see here in Phoenix, but other than that we are glad to be home.

We really need to get all the great-grand kids together for a picture some time, I think Grandpa would love that! Ran my for my first time in...a long time! Ouch! only hit 2.5 miles (don't ask where the other .5 of a mile went) I was in pretty bad shape, but I determined!! Thank for the info!
